Isabel Kunigk | BA(Hons), DipLA | Project Manager and Designer
Isabel’s work has been largely focused on the design of spaces in the public realm, drawing on their cultural and environmental contexts to tell a story. She has also carried out research in urban agriculture, green roof performance and stormwater management techniques and strategies. Her collaborative working style and extensive experience working with multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders groups have equipped her to coordinate and oversee large projects. She joined space2place in 2018.
Isabel studied Landscape Architecture in France and England, earning undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Landscape Architecture from the University of Greenwich in London, UK. A registered landscape architect in Berlin, Germany, she moved to Canada in 2008 and subsequently worked as an adjunct professor at UBC’s School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, where she remains actively engaged in the mentoring of undergraduate and post-graduate students. Isabel completed the IAP2’s Foundations in Public Participation (Planning and Techniques) course in March 2019.
